Where will we hide when nature has had enough of us?Imagine an escape
Created from an original series of photos modified with AI, this experimental film tells the story of an imaginary future where the remains of humanity are sheltered on the edge of a world they have poisoned.
Rage against
the machine
The main character escapes the encroaching wilderness by uploading copies of himself into a giant computer, revealing how technology can become a bridge to some kind of immortal existence.
Both children of the 1970s, Les Garçons drew from their analog vision of the future to craft a story that looks forward from the past. This retro-futuristic aesthetic is expressed in their choice of locations, from a mid-century Montreal mansion to Ottawa’s Cold War Museum and Mexico City’s Biblioteca Vasconcelos, each embodying this nostalgic yet forward-looking approach.
