Exploring Global Impacts: A Photographic JourneyThe director and photographer, Guillaume Beaudoin, has traveled to around twenty countries to take aerial, terrestrial, and underwater photographs of great sensitivity. Crossing the South Pacific by hitchhiking on sailboats, working with the Ocean Cleanup, and discovering the last nomadic peoples of Africa and Asia: Guillaume moves according to his encounters.

By giving a voice to the people he meets along the way, he focuses on the impact of climate change and globalization on different communities around the world. Moreover, he describes their adaptive capacities and the initiatives they undertake to cope with contemporary upheavals.

A deeply human book, halfway between travel narrative and documentary, in which the author incorporates reflections on the search for meaning, Western lifestyles, and the importance of individual effort. Because it takes a first step to initiate a great movement.
