To draw a card from Oracle Sans Bla Bla is to immerse yourself in an inner journey. Each card lets you reconnect with your deepest values: poetic, funny, serious or absurd. In the effigy of texts and illustrations, LM Chabot presents four themes depicted comically: self-responsibility, absolute relativity, the feeling of existing and the wish box. Four human feelings are captured with the funky aesthetic of LM Chabot, in which colors and absurdity mix as usual.
We wanted to stay away from a literal lecture of the card and, instead, give space to the self-interpretation of its story. The purpose of these images came to us like flashes, like they were meant to be.

The photographs carry us into a world where life is taken lightly,our reality is belittled, and absurdity breaks free in a goofy and funny manner. Each image on the cards transports us to a different world, a fantastic space where one can tell one’s own story.

We shot these in studio because we wanted a Mediterranean ambience and a full-on labyrinth. The main challenge is always making the viewer believe these are outside shots. For this project, we moved away from pretending a location and aimed more towards creating a space that does not exist for the spectator to blend with.
