Guillaume is fundamentally passionate about humans. From the ramifications of the Moken language where the word worry is non-existent, to the power of the present moment among the Hadzabe in Tanzania, Guillaume possesses this power to marvel at the resilience, the diversity, and the philosophies to all those who have crossed his path.
A community that particularly marked me was the Hadzabe in Tanzania. They are the last true hunter-gatherers in Africa. Far from these heavy societal questions of the past and the future which emerge through sedentarism, the Hadzabe are deeply rooted in the present moment and the simplicity of their nomadic lifestyle

One of my goals while photographing different communities is not to highlight eccentricity. It is question to observe commonalities rather than differences. What brings us together rather than what separates us.

My favourite place on earth is Tanna Island, part of the Vanuatu archipelago in Australia. Thanks to my project, Enfants de Tanna, I had the opportunity to meet the community that lives there. They are the happiest and kindest people I have ever known. They have practically nothing, in truth, they are quite poor. But they are magical humans.
