Ultimately, we wanted to create work that added to the dialogue about waste, recycling and consumerism. All of the cans that I photographed were leftovers from fashion and commercial productions.

As I was experimenting and prepping some cans, I happened to walk by a row of coloured seamless papers and was struck by how beautifully the colours were reflected on the metallic surface.
