Folk l'Ore is a journey across History and its frontiers: a Caribbean and Chinese model, hip hop inspired braids reminiscent of FKATwigs, and a styling that oscillates between a meadow and a harajuku neighborhood. LM Chabot and Ora-c deconstruct passed visual classifications and blend them in order to broaden their legacy.
We were really excited about the idea of going the opposite way of what we are usually called to do. We are in such a graphic and clean world due to our commercial contracts that it is often impossible to explore in this way. It feels good to let go and create suprises and imperfections.

ORA-C jewelry always presented a touch of made-up exoticism, that of a far away world we think we can recognize. A feeling that always inhabited me. The jewelry we are wearing is the keeper of our identity in all its complexity. Every individual can find its own cultural and personal standard.

Every year, the challenge is to create a series that will not fade with the passage of time in terms of aesthetics. We have to consider what will still be beautiful next year, be trend setters. So, we went for a raw, 80's style, a minimalist retouching, and we dressed the model in a style that borrows different elements from different dress codes.
