China, Egypt, Australia - Guillaume is an avid traveler. An explorer who questions the concept of tourism and travel like a product of consumerism. Rather, he proposes to approach this as a tool for connection between humans that are living, thinking and interacting with their environments differently.
It’s the human perspective in relation to nature that adds to the richness of an image, illustrating the back and forth of their interactions, constantly in movement.

I deeply love humans and moments of connection which transcend age, culture, and language. During a trip to China, a moment of complicity was created between this elderly lady and I, as we laughed at the sight of a trivial incident that left other witnesses indifferent. Humour allowed us to connect a moment in time, as everything else seemed to seperate us.

Whether it is designated as a fight or a balance, the dynamic between humanity and nature is at once both omnipresent and constantly being redefined. Who controls? One can seem ahead of the other depending on the situation, but often it is illusory.
