We wanted to create a series of visuals that focus simply on the texture, colours and natural beauty of Ciot's materials. I often use these types of materials as sets in my still life projects. It was interesting to approach them as the subjects of the images rather than backgrounds.

Aside from creating depth and surrealist effect in the images, the sky links Ciot's materials back to their natural origins. The majority of materials that we used in the campaign were natural. Polished stone and the sky was a subtle way to make that connection.
