For a second year, Baillat and Elektra join forces to create a colorful, frightening and unsettling visual campaign for the International Digital Art Biennal (BIAN). While red reigned in 2016, green dominates the 2018 exhibit, which examines technology’s place in the Anthropocene following the mantra Sing the Body Electric, in reference to Walt Whitman.
Drawing from the concept of observation, we went back to the original idea of a watchful eye and came up with something very playful. We moved away from the austere red and black colorway we used last year and made the visual assets more dynamic by using tones of yellow and clusters of eyes, for instance.

Nowadays, the “electrified” body is in dialogue with other bodies and systems in multiple and ever-evolving ways. It seems more imperative than ever that we reconsider our relationship to technology and its consequences on the environment.
