Since the resumption of its activities in May 2020, L’ÉLOI established sanitary measures in order to ensure your security while we fulfill your craziest creative dreams. Either during our productions or during your studio location, L'ELOI follows recommendations transmitted by the INSPQ and CNESST regarding COVID-19 prevention in the workplace.
Find out about our hygienic measures below, as well as some projects produced during the pandemic.
We are eager to accompany you and carry out your craziest projects.
-Interruption of 1 out of 3 studios, to receive a maximum of 2 productions at the same time and append a space in the dining room to ensure proper social distancing
-5x Disinfection Stations (hall, studio A, B and AA, lift access)
-French and english displays of regulations and sanitary measures in effect
-Information and forms sent to clients and users prior production or rental
-Mask wearing mandatory (patio excepted)
-Social distancing of 6 foot (2 meters) to abide by at all times
-Remote working unless presence is required in the studio
-Removal of hand towels, replaced by single use brown paper distributors
-Assigned bathrooms (studio A, B, AA and Staff)
-Disinfection of all contact zones every 3 hours (handles, light switches, countertops, etc)
-Regular air renewal of work spaces (ideally every 30 minutes)
-Managing eating hours in shifts within teams and between various productions
-Daily cleaning provided by an external cleaning company specialized in commercial spaces
-Systematic treatment of our rental material, following four disinfection methods
-Exclusion of symptomatic people from the workplace
-Personal protective equipment
-If possible, opt for teams as small and stable as possible for every shooting location
-Favor technological communication channels (like client approval via Zoom)
-Every person in attendance during a shoot is informed of measures taken by the producer to reduce transmission risk. People in attendance on the set need to fully -grasp what their compliance with these measures mean and the importance of said measures
Social distancing couldn’t allow us to get closer than 2 meters from our actors so, in order to avoid any proximity or repetitive reset between props and actors, we chose to completely opt out of live action product shots and fully render it in 3D
SOLEIL DENAULT
TV shoot from late April, when production restrictions were first lifted here in Montreal. It was thrilling to be back in studio with a (limited) crew. Our clients and agency producer were all safely distanced by several time zones (Edmonton, Vancouver), and continuously connected to us via live feed.
